MYSTERY AT MAGPIE MANOR FINAL SCHOOL MUSICAL
On Tuesday, 23rd July 2024 at 2:00pm, children from different year groups performed the musical 'Mystery at Magpie Manor' in the school hall at Christ Church CE Primary School in Battersea.
The performance concluded at approximately 3.00pm and then there was a refreshment break in the playground where parents, pupils, staff and other visitors enjoyed dishes that had been brought in to celebrate pupils' cultural heritage.

FINAL SCHOOL LEAVERS SERVICE
After enjoying food in the playground, at approximately 3.35pm, everyone reconvened in the school hall for the Leavers Service. Archie, a pupil from Year 6, started off proceedings by giving his opening remarks and then Mrs Morris outlined how this service would be different, since the leavers service would be for all the 52 remaining children left at the school and not just for Year 6 pupils. Pupils and staff then went on to sing 'Shine Jesus Shine' together.
Following the song, Mrs Morris invited each child up onto the stage, one at a time, to shake their hand and she presented them with either a children's bible or a 'Chapters of Our Lives' book. Each pupil's name was displayed on the screen behind, with a photo of them when they were younger.
After all 52 children had been presented with their book, staff and pupils joined in singing one of their favourite songs - 'The Wiggly Waggly Song'.
Finally, before everyone was dismissed, a Year 6 pupil handed out gifts to the remaining class teachers and other staff who worked at the school.
